ZX Horizontal Self-Priming Centrifugal Pump

I. Product Overview

The ZX series pump is a horizontal self-priming centrifugal pump. Compared to other types of self-priming centrifugal pumps, the ZX series features a simpler structure—eliminating the need for a check valve—resulting in greater operational reliability and a longer mean time between failures (MTBF). It is compact, lightweight, highly efficient, and easy to maintain and operate. Special design considerations ensure superior flow rates and performance compared to pumps of the same inlet/outlet diameter.

ZX pumps excel in emergency applications such as industrial and agricultural water handling, flood drainage, and firefighting. They are widely used in sectors including petroleum, chemicals, metallurgy, machinery, synthetic fibers, food processing, energy, and transportation, as well as for municipal water supply and agricultural irrigation (including sprinkler systems). They are suitable for transporting clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water (viscosity < 5°E, temperature < 80°C).

II. Product Applications

Suitable for municipal environmental protection, construction, firefighting, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyeing and printing, brewing, electric power, electroplating, papermaking, petroleum, mining, equipment cooling, and oil tanker unloading.

Suitable for clean water, seawater, and chemical media containing acids or alkalis, as well as general slurries (medium viscosity ≤ 100 cP; solids content up to 30%).

When equipped with a rocker-arm sprinkler head, the pump can spray water into the air, dispersing it into fine droplets; this makes it an excellent tool for pesticide application and irrigation in nurseries, orchards, and tea plantations.

An ideal pump for pairing with any model or specification of filter press to feed slurry into the machine for filtration.
