I. Product Overview

NL Series Sewage and Slurry Pump

This is a single-stage, single-suction vertical pump. Its main components include the volute casing, impeller, pump base, pump housing, support column, motor mount, and electric motor. The volute casing, pump base, motor mount, and impeller nut are cast from gray iron, offering good corrosion resistance and ease of machining.

The impeller features three single-curvature blades of a semi-enclosed design. Made from malleable cast iron, it offers high strength and corrosion resistance, along with ease of manufacturing, excellent solids-handling capability, and high operating efficiency.

To reduce weight and minimize machining requirements, the pump shaft is manufactured from high-quality cold-drawn carbon steel round bar.

The pump base is equipped with four lip-type oil seals and a shaft sleeve to prevent shaft wear and extend the shaft's service life.

This pump can be operated in a vertical or inclined position and has a small footprint. The volute casing must be submerged in the working medium; the pump is easy to start and requires no priming. The direction of rotation is clockwise when viewed from the motor end.

Various unit lengths are available, allowing users to select the appropriate model based on their specific application and site conditions.

II. Main Applications

1. The NL series is a versatile single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump suitable for a wide range of industries and applications, including mining, papermaking, printing and dyeing, environmental protection, graphite, mica, gold, ceramics, oil refining, petroleum, chemicals, agriculture, salt fields, iodine production, dye manufacturing, brewing, food processing, fertilizers, coking, mineral processing, construction, marble processing, and gold mining. It handles tasks such as pumping sludge, quicksand, and muddy or polluted water; transporting viscous liquids and slurries; loading materials; and handling sewage containing suspended solids or fluid mixtures with mud clumps.

2. When paired with a high-pressure water pump and water gun to form a hydraulic earthmoving unit, it can be used for land leveling, dredging of rivers and ponds, excavation and transport for small-scale water conservancy projects, and urban civil air defense or underground engineering works.
