I. Product Overview
The S/SH single-stage double-suction pump is a horizontal split-case centrifugal pump for clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. It features large flow capacity, stable operation, and convenient maintenance, and is widely used in municipal water supply and drainage, industrial circulation, power plants, mines, irrigation, and water conservancy projects.
The horizontal split casing allows inspection of the impeller, shaft seal, and bearing components without removing inlet and outlet piping, making it suitable for large-flow systems that require continuous operation and easier maintenance.
II. Product Features
Double-suction impeller helps balance axial force and is suitable for high-flow service.
Horizontal split-case structure allows convenient maintenance in pump rooms.
Stable operation for clean water, circulating water, and similar media.
Packing seal or mechanical seal and different wetted materials can be selected by duty condition.
Can be used with motors, diesel engines, or variable-frequency control systems.
III. Main Applications
Used in water plants, municipal water supply, industrial circulating water, HVAC cooling circulation, power plant circulation, mine drainage, irrigation, firefighting, and water conservancy projects. The handled liquid temperature is generally not higher than 80°C. Special media or higher-temperature service should be confirmed separately.
IV. Selection and Installation Notes
Provide design flow, head, suction condition, medium temperature, pump room layout, and operation mode.
The foundation should be firm and level, and coupling alignment should be carefully checked during commissioning.
The suction line should be as short and straight as possible to reduce cavitation and vibration risk.
Valves, pressure gauges, and maintenance bypasses are recommended on inlet and outlet lines.
For parallel operation, ensure pump duty points are properly matched.
V. Maintenance Recommendations
Regularly check bearing temperature, seal leakage, vibration, noise, and motor current. If flow decreases, pressure fluctuates, or vibration increases, inspect suction conditions, impeller wear, seal condition, and pipeline valves.
