Technical Information
The information below is for reference. Final order data is subject to the technical agreement and product nameplate.
I. Product Overview
The SGYT-A integrated grease separation and lifting unit is specialized equipment designed to combine grease separation, grease discharge, and sewage lifting/discharge for catering wastewater. It primarily treats catering wastewater by removing animal and vegetable fats/oils, floating matter lighter than water, and solid debris such as rice, vegetable leaves, bones, fish bones, and other food scraps. It is widely used in hotels, restaurants, guesthouses, schools, and canteens.
II. Working Principle
The SGYT-A integrated unit consists of a screening zone, an oil-water separation zone, an oil collection and discharge zone, a sludge collection and discharge zone, and a sewage lifting zone, along with mechanisms for discharging debris, oil, and sludge, as well as a control system.
The unit's inlet connects to the catering wastewater collection pipe. Wastewater enters the screening zone, where large debris and most solid waste are filtered out and periodically discharged into a debris collection bin. The remaining mixture flows into the oil-water separation zone; due to the difference in specific gravity—with oil being lighter than water—the oil naturally floats to the oil collection zone, from where it can be periodically discharged into an oil collection bin. Turbid sludge settles in the sludge collection zone and is subsequently discharged into a sludge collection bin. After separation, the wastewater flows into the sewage lifting zone, which is equipped with a liquid level controller to automate the start and stop of the sewage pump. The pump lifts the wastewater and discharges it into the municipal sewer network. The treated wastewater meets the requirements of CJ343 "Water Quality Standards for Sewage Discharged into Urban Sewers," with an animal and vegetable oil content of no more than 50 mg/L.
III. Operating Conditions
The catering wastewater treated by this grease separation and discharge unit must meet the following conditions:
1. Density of animal and vegetable oils: 0.90 g/cm³ – 0.95 g/cm³
2. Oil/grease content: ≤ 300 ml/L
3. Suspended solids (SS) concentration: ≤ 285 mg/L
4. Wastewater temperature: Above 5°C. IV. Control System:
The control system for the SGYT integrated grease separator and lifting unit operates on an AC 380V, 50Hz power supply. The control cabinet supports both manual and automatic start/stop functions for the water pumps. In automatic mode, pump operation is regulated based on water level signals from sensors located in the sewage lifting chamber; manual control is also available.
If the water level in the lifting chamber rises beyond the normal operating range to the alarm level, the alarm sensor triggers a signal. The control cabinet then issues an audible and visual alarm and forces both pumps to start draining. Once the water level drops to the low-level cutoff point, the control cabinet automatically stops the pumps.
The dual pumps serve as backups for each other and operate in an alternating cycle; if the active pump malfunctions, the standby pump automatically takes over.
The control cabinet manages the heating unit via manual or automatic modes. In automatic mode, the heater operates according to preset time intervals; in manual mode, the heater can be easily turned on or off as needed.
Control of the SGYT unit can also be managed via a PLC system tailored to specific site requirements. It features an RS-485 interface, a digital touchscreen for local operation, and connectivity for remote computer control. This enables intelligent automation, allowing for scheduled or condition-based automatic discharge of slag, grease, and sludge. The system operates autonomously without the need for dedicated personnel, thereby reducing labor costs.
