YCB Circular-Arc Gear Pump

I. Scope of Application

Suitable for conveying lubricating oils—or other liquids with similar properties—that are free of solid particles and fibers, non-corrosive, have a viscosity of 5–1500 cSt, and a temperature not exceeding 80°C; also suitable for use in hydraulic transmission systems.

II. Main Applications

In oil transfer systems: serves as a transfer or booster pump.

In fuel systems: serves as a fuel pump for transfer, pressurization, and injection.

In hydraulic transmission systems: serves as a hydraulic pump to provide hydraulic power.

Across all industrial sectors: serves as a lubricating oil pump.

III. Structural Features

The gears utilize advanced technology—specifically, a double-arc sinusoidal tooth profile. Compared to involute gears, the outstanding advantage is the absence of relative sliding between tooth profiles during meshing; this results in no tooth surface wear, smooth operation, the elimination of fluid entrapment, low noise, long service life, and high operating efficiency. This pump breaks free from the constraints of traditional designs, ushering in a new era for gear pumps in terms of design, manufacturing, and application.

The pump is equipped with a differential-pressure safety valve for overload protection; the full-recirculation pressure of the safety valve is set at 1.5 times the pump's rated discharge pressure. This setting can also be adjusted according to actual needs within the permissible discharge pressure range. However, this safety valve is not intended for long-term operation as a pressure-reducing valve; a separate pressure-reducing valve should be installed in the pipeline if required.
