I. Product Overview
This unit manufactures two types of pumps: the WSY and the FSY. The WSY is a vertical fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) submerged vortex pump, while the FSY is a vertical FRP submerged pump. Designed for installation in storage tanks or vats, the submerged depth can be customized between 800mm and 3000mm. As long as the liquid level is above the pump body, the pump can start and deliver fluid without the need for priming. A leakage hole is provided beneath the top cover plate to prevent leakage outside the storage tank.
Components in contact with the medium are made of phenolic FRP (specifically, polyvinyl butyral-modified phenolic resin reinforced with glass fiber) formed via high-temperature molding. The connecting pipes and discharge pipes are phenolic FRP tubes manufactured using the semi-dry winding process. The impeller and shaft sleeve assembly is bonded to the pump shaft using phenolic putty, and all submerged components are assembled using phenolic putty; consequently, no metal comes into contact with the medium, ensuring absolute corrosion resistance reliability. The product offers excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, dimensional stability, temperature resistance, and corrosion resistance. In terms of corrosion protection, it can partially replace expensive metals such as molybdenum-bearing stainless steel, titanium, and titanium alloys.
Drive and Rotation: The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via a claw-type elastic coupling; viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
