Technical Information
The information below is for reference. Final order data is subject to the technical agreement and product nameplate.
I. Product Overview
The FS-type horizontal FRP (Fiber-Reinforced Plastic) centrifugal pump features an advanced and rational structural design with a high degree of standardization; its parts offer excellent universality and interchangeability, making disassembly and maintenance highly convenient. Components in contact with the medium are made of phenolic FRP—specifically, polyvinyl butyral-modified phenolic resin reinforced with glass fiber—formed via high-temperature molding. The product boasts excellent properties such as light weight, high strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to both temperature and corrosion. In terms of corrosion resistance, it can partially replace expensive metals such as molybdenum-bearing stainless steel, titanium, and titanium alloys.
Shaft Seal: Utilizes a WB2-type externally mounted PTFE (F4) bellows mechanical seal, ensuring reliable sealing and a long service life.
Drive: The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via a jaw-type elastic coupling.
II. Main Applications
This pump is an ideal and essential piece of equipment for industries such as petrochemicals, metallurgy, dyes, textile printing and dyeing, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, rare earth processing, and fertilizers. It is designed to transport corrosive media—specifically non-oxidizing acids (such as hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, formic acid, acetic acid, and butyric acid)—that are free of solid particles and do not easily crystallize, at temperatures not exceeding 100°C.
